dengen 2005is a big charity fashion show supported by DeNA, whose running shopping site, bidders is one of the majour internet auction places, for WWF Japan. This show took place in Tokyo National Museum on14th November 2005. The theme of this event was "tradition and modernity", therefore Koinobori (Japanese trtaditional banners in fish shape) were recycled into colourful dresses and fashion items. My role was designing the sign flags in the venue and artdirection in the auditrium.
Basically the subject matters are all Japanese medieval warriors but looking carefully, you can find many fashion items and modern commodities are drawn in each of illustration. This idea matches for the theme of this show.
